Feeling Grateful

I'm just so grateful to the Lord today for leading me in decisions in all aspects of life.  It's so dumbfounding that He even cares about all the details of my life.  Then He also guides and sustains me through each one.

How great is our God!  Blessed be the Name of the Lord for now and forevermore!!!

Sadness turns to Gladness!

Apparently we had hail last night!
After 2 nights of fitful rest,
I slept hard and did not
even hear the storm.

When I went outside this morning,
2 of my tulips were broken.

I was SO sad because one of them
was my only yellow bud.
It hadn't even had the chance to
open to a flower yet.

the Lord reminded me
that broken flowers
make GREAT table decor!

I brought them in and cut them for water.

When I came back later,
look at what had happened:

Look what the yellow one did!!!

Just another display of God's redeeming work.
From 'bad' to good!!!

Meditating on the truth and weight of God's Word

I want to be like Mary of whom it is said,
"...keeping within herself all these things (sayings),
weighing and pondering them in her heart."  Luke 2:19

Luke 4:4  "...Man shall  not live and be sustained by (on) bread alone but by EVERY word and expression of God."

1:20b "...but my words are of a kind which WILL be fulfilled in the appointed and proper time."

1:37  "For with God nothing is ever impossible and NO Word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment."

2 Corinthians 1:20 "For no matter how many promises God has made they are "Yes" in Christ.  And so through Him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God."

Luke 5:5b "...but on the ground of Your Word, I will..."

Deuteronomy 3:24a  "O LORD God, You have only begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your mighty hand..."

"...blessed is she who believed
that there would be a fulfillment
of the things that were spoken
to her from the Lord."
Luke 1:45

Blessed Amplified

Blessed:  happy---with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor
and salvation, apart from your outward condition
---and to be envied.

I really want to get my brain around this.
Blessed is my perpetual state.
Joy and satisfaction can remain steady in my life
I remember what
is most important
which is His favor
and salvation.

I ALWAYS have both!!!

My circumstances do not negate my blessedness.
Even though they FEEL like they do sometimes.

It makes me think again of my dear friend
who reminds me that my feelings
are NOT the truth,
God's Word

"Blessed is she who has believed that what the Lord has said
to her WILL be accomplished."  Luke 1:45
